Personal Referrals
The staff at the Chamber receives thousands of inquiries each year. Your potential customers are asking for referrals for everything from dining to windshield repair. We refer exclusively to Chamber Members. Our referral is viewed as an endorsement for your product and services and will bring you new, loyal customers.
Networking Opportunities
Meet with other Chamber members during Business After Hours Mixers. This is a great way to meet other professionals and introduce your business. Host a Mixer to promote your business. The Chamber supports new and existing members through publicizing and helping to organize your Open House & Grand Opening.
Ambassador Welcome Ribbon Cutting
New businesses are welcomed by the Ambassadors and Chamber Board of Directors with a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting. The photograph of your Ribbon Cutting will appear in The Valley Courier with a caption that introduces you to the community.
Membership List & Labels
You may request a current list of Chamber members at no cost or you may request the membership list on self-adhesive labels for a $10.00 fee. This benefit is a great way to connect with your fellow Chamber members and let them know about your business or planned events. This gives you a database of highly targeted business and community leaders in the area.
Monthly Newsletter
The Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce monthly newsletter, contains news about Chamber activities, a calendar of events, a list of new and renewing members and articles that are relevant to the commerce and civic interests in the area. All members receive a copy of the newsletter to keep them up to date on events and issues important to our community interests.
Education & Training
The Chamber sponsors and coordinates seminars and workshops to help our Members strengthen their businesses. Employment law, tourism marketing and starting a business are just a few of the pertinent topics presented. All members are notified of these opportunities which are open to Members and their employees.
Bulk Mail Permit
This is a money saving benefit. The Chamber holds a bulk mail permit through the Alamosa post office. The Chamber provides instructions for processing your mailing as well as the supplies you will need. If you have a mailing of 200 or more pieces, you will gain dramatic savings by using the Chamber’s bulk mail permit. Contact the Chamber prior to printing your mailing so you include the correct information.
Business Assistance/Business Development
If you need assistance with Business Planning, Marketing, Financing, we have the resources to help. We’ll help you coordinate with other Chamber members who can share their expertise, advice and assistance. The Chamber can also refer you to the wealth of resources available to you including special tax benefits, revolving loan funds and historic preservation grant funds.
Alamosa Chamber Conference Room
Our conference room is available to Members for hosting meetings for up to 6 people. We can also refer you to the many meeting and conference rooms in the area depending on your specific needs.
