This option allows you to be outside getting in some fresh air and plenty of walking while being able to retreat indoors for a little bit while you shop around! With so many options to choose from Downtown, you are sure to get plenty of time out of the house and plenty of time on your feet. Take your time, stop for coffee or a snack, and enjoy all that Downtown has to offer all within walking distance. Go at it solo or bring a friend, there is no time restriction to your outing!
Layer Up & Take a Walk
Fill your thermos with something warm and venture out to the trail of your choosing! You don't have to drive to any of our locations, a stroll down your street will get you fresh air and sunshine, but we have a few favorite locations that we highly recommend:
2. Cole Park
All three of the mentioned locations are well maintained and perfect for a short walk! These locations are perfect for you to take your time at as they are rarely crowded and have ample space to allow you to settle in with nature and enjoy the fresh air! Do note that Alamosa Riparian park is not a paved trail and can be muddy when the snow starts to melt! Be sure to plan accordingly with proper footwear!
